Bavarian hearty atmosphere, excellent cuisine, friendly, careful staff, reservation of Haxn dishes ADVICE. !!! We have always felt very comfortable here and hope that the Hax'nwirt will still exist after the corona pandemic. HOLD ON AND STAY HEALTHY ?

It is a pleasant place where you can eat and drink home-style at a reasonable price, the Haxe is particularly recommended, for which you should reserve and pre-order because of the waiting-roast-grill time

The best roulade, it was time. Since the bacon that belongs in a classic roulade is missing, it is not the best roulade for me. Too bad . Maybe you can change that one day.

It has been an institution in Berlin since 1966. The knuckle lives up to its name. But the other delicacies are not to be despised either. My favorite is the Bavarian sausage salad. Of course, Bayern will be able to say that everything is not the same as in Bavaria. But that also applies to the currywurst in Munich ... In any case, it is always delicious with a hearty, friendly service. With pleasure again.

I was with friends at the Hax'nwirt for dinner and cozy get-togethers. The dishes were very tasty and plentiful. The service (waitress) friendly and attentive. All were all around satisfied. We'll definitely be back and wish the Hax'n team all the best during this very tense time.

I love the knuckles and the dumplings there. Nothing has changed about the bad red cabbage for years. The rest is perfect.

The food, I had the butcher's bowl, was excellent. The restaurant has a cozy outdoor area in which we sat. The waitress was very stressed because the outside area was full, but did her best not to let it show and served us well. Gladly again

A tip if you want to eat Bavarian food in Berlin. Very good and tasty food! Portions are large - you will be full. Price-performance ratio fits!

Very good and original Bavarian cuisine. The restaurant is really a quaint tavern which has a very cozy and authentic atmosphere. The food (smoked pork and pork knuckle with sauerkraut and bread dumplings) is very good, as is the service. Payment by card is of course possible. The location is great, you can also sit outside.

Rustic restaurant with home-style cuisine. The food is excellent and the portions keep you full. Inside it is a bit nested but cozy. When the weather is good, you can sit outside at around 15 tables. Unfortunately, the restaurant is on a busy main street, so it's not that cozy outside. The toilets could use some renovation.

You need reservations. They were sold out of Haxe. The beer and duck were adequate substitutes. Friendly staff.

The food was very good. The serving lady asked for tip herself and also determined its amount. She only returned the € 60 banknotes (€ 33 spent) and expected to leave the "small" € 7 as a tip. I have never experienced such behavior anywhere.

We visit the Haxnwirt at least twice a year with a big group of people to have some comfort food. Of course, don't expect a vegetarian menu when you go there :-) The Haxn (roasted pork leg) and meat dishes taste just like they should, portions are big. When you pre-order a Haxn, size M is plenty enough. If you still have room for dessert, share a Kaiserschmarrn or apple rings! The atmosphere is cozy and the "not so Bavarian" staff very friendly.

A giant portion, Bavarian Restaurant with a good draft beer, I've tried that twice, and would try that more. all the staffs wear traditiona bavarian Clothing.

For some reason, it was really hard to find a great restaurant with traditional German food. We asked a German in Berlin where we could find a good restaurant with German food and she said, "Bayern." She was WRONG! This place is AMAZING. The knoedel where huge and delicious. The rotkohl, roladen, everything was ausgezeichnet. My husband and I were only in Berlin for a short amount of time, but we ate there every night after finding it. Try the Haxe for sure! I'm from the States and it isn't quite what I would normally eat, but it is delicious.
